WHY again did Liberals (i.e. "Democrats") Oppose Bolton to the U.N.?

While the disaster in Louisiana has had everyone's attention, a little known skirmish in the United Nations was taking place. The United Nations was trying to force America into paying a Global Tax to the U.N. Meanwhile, the democrat media propaganda machine was out in force to continue its lies and deception of the American public.
Was the real opposition to John Bolton as Ambassador to the United Nations because the democrats and the left see the United Nations as a vehicle to FORCE America to submit to their liberal agenda even against their will? Is the REAL GOAL of the Democratic Party to sacrifice U.S. Sovereignty to the United Nations where the Democrats believe they have some influence to rule over the United States from a global government body? Is the REAL GOAL of the Democratic Party to RULE over Americans even against their wishes? It would appear so based on the Democratic Party's love affair with the United Nations.
All Americans owe President Bush and John Bolton a debt of gratitude--, Bush for appointing Bolton in spite of the shrieks of horror from the "democrats"; and Bolton for stopping the U.N.'s attempted tax grab from America as recently reported by AIM. Isn't it interesting that the same United Nations Socialist media outlets are still towing the democrat party line:

"Democrats" with the help of their big media propaganda lackeys will do ANYTHING to regain power. If regaining power means selling their own soul, and the soul of America to destroy American freedom, the socialists that call themselves "democrats" will not hesitate to do so. Beware the sick agenda of the left which hides behind the doors of the United Nations.
Bolton did exactly what AMERICANS want him to do in stopping the United Nations as the world's Global Socialist organization from taking tax money from U.S. Taxpayers. In the process, he has been attacked in subtle and not so subtle ways by liberals in the media and their counterparts in Congress. Every American needs to be made aware that this same corrupt democrat media has HIDDEN the recent attempt at taxing Americans to support the United Nations.
Another case of classic LIBERAL MEDIA PROPAGANDA TACTICS from the likes of the New York Times and the Washington Post. For example, AIM notes:
What the media have carefully concealed is the fact the summit's "draft outcome document," as it's currently called, would put the U.S. on record in support of global taxes on the American people. Bolton wants those and other parts of the document eliminated.
Two new developments are expected in this propaganda campaign. First, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) will release a letter to President Bush urging the U.S. to play a "positive role" in the negotiations on a final document. Second, liberal members of Congress will release a similar letter. The major media will fawn over these developments, leading to more anti-Bolton stories...
It's unfortunate that the major media have reporters at the U.N. who are either too lazy or too liberal to inform the American people that the draft supports "a solidarity contribution on plane tickets to finance development projects." This is a euphemism for a French proposal for an international tax on airline travel. The document goes on to say that the nations of the world will "agree to consider further other solidarity contributions that would be nationally applied and internationally coordinated…"
If the idea of global taxes is shocking, it's only because the Big Media have failed to report that the U.N. issued a 17-page August 17, 2004, report under the title of "Innovative sources of financing for development." The phrase "innovative sources" is another euphemism for global taxes. The report was approved by U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, made explicit references to global taxes, and carried the endorsement of the U.N. General Assembly. This kind of thinking is reflected in the summit document that Bolton wants to change.
The U.N. also prepared a book, New Sources of Development Finance, advocating global environmental taxes and a global currency tax that would affect the international investments of ordinary Americans. One contributor to the book suggests that taxes be collected by national governments and then provided through a "World Tax Authority" under the U.N. system.
This is the old tactic of getting the "Camel's nose under the tent." Once the United Nations' "Camel's nose" is under that tent, it doesn't take much more before the entire camel gets inside the tent even though the tent stakes are pulled out and the tent collapses. The United Nations has been looking for some method to implement a global tax for years and this is just the "toe in the door" to forced global (read "American") taxation.
The United Nations is a dysfunctional and corrupt organization (kind of like America's "Democratic" Party). It is the Socialist's dream of a tool for centralized, global government power over EVERY NATION ON EARTH, even against their will. Forced taxation is just the beginning. Once the United Nations has a mandate to FORCE America to pay for its continued existence, it will then press to expand its authority and influence at the expense of American Independence.
The United Nations has a history of hostility to the United States and to U.S. interests. Once FORCED taxation is accomplished, that same money will be used AGAINST Americans to undermine this country even further. Under the United Nations, America will once again experience the yoke of bondage. And every American needs to know that the mainstream media, through corrupt democrat media outlets like the New York Times and the Washington Post FULLY SUPPORT THIS FORCED TAXATION.
This article is as much a clarion wakeup call to the insanity on the left as it is a request for Democrats to prove this wrong by denouncing the United Nations attempt to grab U.S. Taxpayer money. If the Democrats do not answer this call and denounce this action publicly, then we all have our answer about what the Democratic Party's REAL agenda is.

At least SOME of the media outlets are starting to report the FRAUD by many on the left. Taxing Americans and bringing CENTRALIZED GOVERNMENT CONTROL to the United Nations is the Liberal Agenda.

I actually am glad for Kofi. The corruption in the UN along with Bolton will set their agenda back 20 years at least. Noone, even the liberals, want to give money to crooks.

Sure that is the plan. Part of it is for Hillary to be president and issue lots of EOs and Slick to be Secretary General of the UN. That'll show those pesky Republicans and their Supreme Court!
