Kerry's slogan was 'Hope is on the way!' and every time I heard it, it disgusted me... Hope is immaterial; it is omnipresent- it is not something that comes and goes. When I first heard about this story, I imagined Penn using one of those plastic, red beer cups one usually sees at parties.
It looks more like a tumbler. Too funny.
I never realized Sean Penn was so, um, unattractive.
I don't follow the Hollywood gang, so I assumed he was some heart-throb...he's rather nasty looking.
So it would seem he is ugly AND stupid. Bad combo.
How typical of a liberal. No thought of the logistics and practical problems involved. It's the thought that counts.
He'll no doubt tell his Hollywood friends he was there in the thick of things during Katrina and they'll celebrate his good intentions.
