SAN DIEGO – An 18-month-old boy was kidnapped Sunday when the SUV he was in was carjacked in Fontana, prompting authorities to issue an Amber Alert for all of Southern California, a sergeant said.

Noah Leano was in his mother's white, 2000 Ford Expedition when the vehicle was taken from an AM/PM gas station in the 17000 block of Foothill Boulevard at 1:24 p.m., said Fontana police Sgt. William Megenney.

This afternoon when I saw the notice on the freeway, it said a white Ford Explorer.
