FAA's bigger than Constitutional Freedom of Speech then? Are there laws to back this up, or is retribution under the table?
No, no, nothing like that. The problem comes in when the FAA investigation gets to the point at which your official statement (filed with the FAA) is compared to statements you made to the press. *Any* inconsistency is probed, probed, and probed again - and you are grilled over it, even if it's the press' fault for getting it wrong.
On top of that, I don't like the press, so I wouldn't talk to them anyway - and more and more people are like me in that respect.
