You summed it up well. I lived on the West Bank and my apartment got 14 inches of water from a severe 10" rain storm in the 70's. Electricity was still on and the water was just a few inches below the AC outlets. After having put all my stuff up on blocks as the water came in, I sat down on a lawn chair in my living room and watched TV. It was a way of life in N.O. to expect flooding.

How many boats did he sink? Oh he also said there were no bullhorns while he was out looking..I guess he forgot to bring one (and a bilge pump)and brought a bullet proof vest instead..
We need accountability..yeah thats the ticket..people need to be accountable for their own basic survival...I guess they don't teach much in NO schools about what would happen when the river rises?
