I think that there is another rathergate brewing in all this. Just sit and monitor some of the neighborhood boards at nola.com. There are folks there who know people, etc. who are connected to members on the Levee Board. Comments there suggest corruption, gambling, a casino. Googling levee board new orleans turns up some really weird things, as well.
You know, I'm not afraid of what the President will do with his next pick, but Mark just gave a solid GOOD response I can respect that was respectful to all concerned. Wish certain other columnists could learn from his example...

Did you forward a copy to FOX -- Hannity, O'Reilly (I suspect he will be on this like a dog with a bone) and Joe Scarborough?
What about a class action lawsuit on behalf of the general public against the media? Seems to me that, especially in this instance, deliberately reporting falsehoods is endangering the welfare of citizens - like shouting "fire" in a crowded theater, knowing there's not really a fire, but just to "see what would happen."
Either that or he's in sync, but I suspet it's a combination of both. I'm glad I avoided Gibson and stuck with Hannity's show, it was the better choice.

If you are talking about the Astrodome, I have trouble believing that. Greta is there and has had nothing but glowing reports about what's going on there. She even mentioned this morning that someone is in the bathooms every HOUR cleaning and picking up. From video you can see LE everywhere.
