Governor Blanco Announces Executive Order
Baton Rouge, LA— Governor Blanco today announced the following Executive Order:
Executive Order NO. KBB 2005- 31- provides that pursuant to the Louisiana Homeland Security and Emergency Assistance and Disaster Act, R.S. 29:721, et seq., grants emergency powers to the governor, where, she has in consultation with school superintendents, utilized public school buses for transportation of Hurricane Katrina evacuees. As you are aware most public school districts will not begin school until Tuesday, September 6th 2005.

I wonder if some pinhead talked her into doing this to counter the appalling irony of her whimpering and whining cast against an image of 250 school buses underwater?

Maybe they can make that kid who stole a school bus and took 80 people to Houston...a state employee so he doesn't face any charges. Seriously how many school buses were they able to commandeer after 9/1/05? Did this executive order appear before or after the photo of flooded NO school buses was posted by Drudge?
The order gives Blanco the power to use the public schoolbuses to evacuate the people in NO. So why are they sitting in 4 feet of water all neat in a row?
Criminal negligence. Nagin, Ebbert, Blanco. Those photos say it all.
She used this to get buses from LA that weren't devastated by the storm to help evacuate the people in NO...too little, too late.
Just imagine if the mayor and governor of LA were Republicans and the President was a democrat. Who would be getting the blame?
Isn't there another group of about 30 or so school buses around there too?

The answer: INCOMPETENCE at the STATE and LOCAL level.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that this subject and the photos of the busses aty in the forefront. This is indisputable evidence of negligence, maybe criminal, that has caused most of the chaos we've seen in NO. This negligence has no doubt resulted in deaths. It clearly lays out who is responsible.
KEEP this subject alive.
Maybe Blanco is a closet freeper, saw the bus photo and our comments. :-)
