I'd suspect his constituents before I'd suspect the CIA

The quote was very close to "wipe me out."

CNN transcript will show the exact quote.

My approximation is close enough.

The man looked like he has had it. I can understand the fatigue. However, regardless, those are not words you want to say on national TV during a serious crisis. One must be a leader under pressure. Imagine the pressure President Bush was under or Rudy Giuliani. Where is this man heading. I think he is staring dangerously into the abyss. Somebody needs a 'time out'. Can we have the adults take over??

AMEN...

Sounds like there is a shortage of meds for hiz honnooor???
How many decent citizens of NOLA are wondering how this guy got to any post of responsibility in Cox Communications? For that matter, how about other employees at Cox that he got promoted over?

There are lots of questions about this man's ability, and his mental capacity. He sounds like he needs "tasters" like the Romans.

Typical rat-out-of-control-syndrome. He knows he screwed up over a week ago when he failed to ask for fed.help early enough and now, as they always do, he's trying to shift the blame to you know who.

I agree he has reason to fear for his life, but I don't think it should be the CIA he fears, it should be the people fortunate enough to escape from his city. Truly, he fears he will reap what he has sown. The Sept 2004 AP article proves he had adequate warning of what would happen and he ignored it.
