An anti-war activist whose protest outside President Bushs Texas ranch concluded this week wont bring her anti-war sentiments to the Western Slope this month.
Organizers said Friday that Cindy Sheehan wont make her scheduled Sept. 15 appearance in Grand Junction.
News of Sheehans visit evoked immediate outrage among those who see the California woman as using the death of her 24-year-old son, Casey, to undermine troop morale and push the liberal platform of groups backing her message.
Karen Sjoberg, director of Grand Valley Peace and Justice, attributed the cancellation to what she (Sheehan) deems more pressing needs elsewhere in the country.
Other scheduled stops in Glenwood Springs and Paonia were cancelled as well.

Maybe she should bus down to NO and really stir up some thugs!
But seriously, if she went to NO she would see real hero action being done by the country's finest and that would so undermine her activism. (Like nothing has already/sarc)

Yeah...and it looks pretty sad to be attacking the military when they are busy saving people's lives. Sheehan is done.

If Peace Mother Sheehan (PMS) really wanted to do some good, she'd capitalize on her fame and raise some serious funds for hurricane assistance.
Oh, that's right, she's in this for herself.

Karen Sjoberg, director of Grand Valley Peace and Justice, attributed the cancellation to what she (Sheehan) deems more pressing needs elsewhere in the country. This woman had better go home..No one wants to hear a thing she has to say but her liberal friends..She is doing even more harm than her sponsor Michael Moore and those dead heads..Soon we will have no democratic party if it is left up to these Marxist..so I would say the dems had better put a muzzle on the dingy woman...

Cindy was just a tool of the MSM to try to weaken President Bush. They have bigger fish to fry at the moment: trying to convince the public that Bush is to blame for all the suffering in New Orleans since the hurricane hit, and maybe for the hurricane itself.

I wonder if one of her at least
two public relations firms (Mintwood Media Collective and Fenton Communications) recommended that. Regardless, she's gonna have trouble getting facetime on TV for at least a while, so she might as well take a powder.

Maybe she could go down there and scream at the National Guard and rescue personnel that the country "isn't worth fighting for."
Then she could go take a long walk off a short pier.

She'd have gotten quite a bit of it, too. Much of my family lives in that area. They don't want war, but they darn well believe that anyone else starts one, we should darn well finish it, and them.
