I've been wondering what the Rev. Jesse Lee Petersen has to say about this kind of incident. He's had some eloquent statements about endemic hatred of Whites held in the Black Community, and now it is sin, and how he himself had it, but repented, rejected the blame-the-white-man drumbeat furthered by liberals and irresponsible Black leaders, and took responsbility for his own actions--calling for others to do the same. I'll bet all of this is making him SICK.

Rather than reporting, most of the coverage I've seen is more agenda driven than just news. I hope a lot of this is just rumours and sensationalism. It sure is weird to wonder if reporters are even trying to tell the truth.

That is a strange question. The body has already been identified as the victim of multiple rapes and murder. What do you think they are going to do with it - dump it in a mass grave? Over the course of time it will be turned over to police and forensic specialists. Why wouldn't it be?

By attacking religion and keeping people away from the "opiate of the masses" a great civilizing force is neutralized. Churches go vacant, which can be wonderful places to organize at such a time like this, and entire religious traditions themselves go bankrupt and disperse. We need to start a public awareness campaign that what we are seeing is Marxism and resulting anarchy....

That is true; what I said is also true, it is not racial bating, it is factual, and it would apply to any group of people who, instead of rising to the occasion, acted depraved and barbaric.

You're right. And it better be...I'm definitely more doubtful than I was before in regard to catastrophes...and, more so, coordinated terrorist attacks. I'm not so confident we would pull together so well should there be coordinated attacks on multiple cities.

Years back in NYC, we had the Crown Heights Riots, which had turned into a black pogrom of the Orthodox Jewish neighborhood of Crown Heights. Mayor David Dinkens ordered the police to "show restraint". They stood like statues and did NOTHING to stop the violence

And received scant covearage by the liberal MSM

Pres. Bush should have answered the question as to why rescue didn't happen sooner by telling everyone that Gov. Blanco didn't ask for it (there is a procedure to follow) and that rescuers were shot at by the criminals that live in that decadent hellhole. He should not have pussy-footed around these two salient facts. He didn't get more than 25% of the vote in NO, so he would have risked nothing in giving them and the nation a strong dose of the truth. We need to stop coddling the sub-par intellects in the NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus.

No news is usually good news. I suspect they're too busy actually dealing with the situation to call a press conference.
