Murder and Mayhem in New Orlean's Miserable Shelter: Lessons from the Dome

Valenti and her husband, two of very few white people in the almost exclusively black refugee camp, said she and other whites were threatened with murder on Thursday.

"They hated us. Four young black men told us the buses were going to come last night and pick up the elderly so they were going to kill us," she said, sobbing. "They were plotting to murder us and then they sent the buses away because we would all be killed if the buses came -- that's what the people in charge told us this morning."

Other survivors recounted horrific cases of sexual assault and murder.

Sitting with her daughter and other relatives, Trolkyn Joseph, 37, said men had wandered the cavernous convention center in recent nights raping and murdering children.

She said she found a dead 14-year old girl at 5 a.m. on Friday morning, four hours after the young girl went missing from her parents inside the convention center.

"She was raped for four hours until she was dead," Joseph said through tears. "Another child, a seven-year old boy was found raped and murdered in the kitchen freezer last night."

According to one lady being intervied last night after having esccaped the dome, she said that one the lowlifes who
raped and killed a girl was beaten until he died by the rest of the people. Its too late for thatgirl though.

If Jesse Lee Peterson has an opposite view or approach (I would imagine he DOES and it is called "do not sin; take responsbility",) everytime that CLOWN Jesse Jackson gets on US TV to stir the put, they out to put Peterson up against him to debate. There are TWO SIDES TO THIS, MSM!!!

This may be a taboo topic, and I am sure the Admin Mods are reading, but we HAVE to discuss this as Americans, and analyze it, and see what can be done about it. It will take everyone in America to fix it. It cannot be ignored any further.

I don't see why this should be a taboo topic. Yes, we're all Americans. As I watch the television coverage of this disaster, I recognize almost each and every person I see as a fellow citizen. I lived in New Orleans for 7 years and have many great memories of the city and its people.

But political correctness has become the bane of American (and indeed world) political discourse. I could care less that Nagin is black or Blanco is a woman. What I care about are the deadly consequences that have resulted from the obvious incompetence shown by Nagin (who happens to be black) and Blanco (who happens to be female). The truth must be spoken without regard for race or gender, and when that isn't done, bad things inevitably result.

You made a good point. If we get a Allah Ahkbar suitcase nuke or major bio/chem warfare attack in one of our cities, think of the thousands of Americans who would otherwise follow instructions and head to government supported centers. After they have seen what happened in the Anarchydome, and how govt could not stop it, I would imagine hundreds if not thousands of Americans evacuating major cities will NOT go in temporary quarters with large groups of other people. It is going to be everyman for himself.

No, I don't think you are a "race" baiter, nic. It is fact. What is said is the "oppressed" mentality created in this racial group by our cultural elites. Next, every Asian, Mexican, and so on. What this... education system teaching..represents.. Marxist indoctrination in Marxist theory: There are the oppressors and there are the oppressed. It is that simple and, for the last thirty or so years, this is the lesson that has been taught, reinforced, and imposed at every level on our populace: in the movies, in the classroom, in the news. It is anti-religion because religion is from the paternalistic white male oppressor. And the goal is to undermine the culture of the oppressor by demoralizing and creating disequilibrium.

By attacking religion and keeping people away from the "opiate of the masses" a great civilizing force is neutralized. Churches go vacant, which can be wonderful places to organize at such a time like this, and entire religious traditions themselves go bankrupt and disperse.
