Halliburton hired for storm cleanup
The Houston Chronicle ^ | Sept. 1, 2005 | The Houston Chronicle

Posted on 09/02/2005 6:17:31 PM PDT by Conservative Firster

The Navy has hired Houston-based Halliburton Co. to restore electric power, repair roofs and remove debris at three naval facilities in Mississippi damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

Halliburton subsidiary KBR will also perform damage assessments at other naval installations in New Orleans as soon as it is safe to do so.

KBR was assigned the work under a "construction capabilities" contract awarded in 2004 after a competitive bidding process. The company is not involved in the Army Corps of Engineers' effort to repair New Orleans' levees.

Michael Moore-on proves once again that he is a lower life form than the bacteria festering in that New Orleans sewage..... at least the bacteria helps consume the sewage, whereas Michael Moore-on just spews more sewage into the world....

All right! It's gonna hit the fan now.

I have heard so much crap about this hurricane by ignorant reporters and complainers that I don't really give a damn.

We had a couple of pharmacists willing to go work for free but I called and told them to forget it. I can't take anymore of this bitching when people are literally risking their lives to help the evacuees. It seems nothing will satisfy them. I am not willing to put people's lives in danger for a bunch of ungrateful *sses. It wouldn't surprise me if they sued the people who did try to help. We are staying out of this mess.

This is one time that hiring Halliburton was not a good move. The conspiracy theorists and the leftists will have a field day now.

I know what you mean... but I still don't agree... let them run with their conspiracy theories... it doesn't serve them well.

Ah Ha!!! Bush really did wave his hand and create that hurricane! Now, Halliburton can go to NO and drill for oil for the Jooooos! That's it! This is one of the biggest cover ups ever! The hurricane is all about oil and the Jews!
How will we ever hide this from the democrats????

Now we know what happend, Bush and Cheny got together with the secret weather modification program people at the Pentagon, and Rumsfeld drew up the plans for a giant hurricane, so Halliburtan could come in and clean up the mess. Its all so clear now.

They are going to repair the damaged naval installations, not NO. The local democrats will want to control that, so they can get kickbacks.

Yes the evil Haliburtan! The Cheney company that is exporting millions of barrels of oil to the US daily from Iraq and is reaping millions daily in profits, most of which goes to the Cheney family to purchase an unlimited amount of new, large SUV's!
