W is probably annoyed that the local states are clueless in storm preparation. What he is looking at is one of the satellite maps from NOAA.

Not only that, HE TOLD THEM AHEAD OF TIME what to do and the did not. I got this snipit from a NOLA news website and it is dated Sunday (a day before the storm talking about what happened SATURDAY)
President Bush declared a state of emergency in Louisiana, authorizing federal emergency management officials to release federal aid and coordinate disaster relief efforts. By mid-afternoon, officials in Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, Lafourche, Terrebonne and Jefferson parishes had called for voluntary or mandatory evacuations. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin followed at 5 p.m., issuing a voluntary evacuation.

today i'm sitting here literaly in tears about what people are saying about our president.
it's time people STOP being political and START being AMERICANS.
But what am I kidding that will probably never happen soon.
that's all i have to say right now. hope everyone is well.

I see what you mean. Actually the only area I feel that way about is his stand on illegal immigration. Problem is, when you're typing in a response, you don't always get what's going on in your mind properly and it can lead to being misunderstood. I really am pretty happy with him as president but am frustrated with that issue. BTW, I haven't met anyone that I agree with 100 % yet.

It is shameless what they are saying he can issue instructions and sign bills into law but he has to rely on those who are in areas of responsibility to enact this instructions and ask for the help in the first place.

The Governor comes over to me as she really does not know what to do
She doesn't have a clue even the the answers where
handed to her.
That state has a history of corruption. One of its
more recent Govs. was sent to prison some yrs back.
for 1 example.

Oh dear I can't even pick my favorite photo here tonight. Thank you so much for today's Dose. I know I haven't been here as long as a lot of us have, but I can't recall a more touching day for the President or a more poignant Dose.
I love this man so much and I pray for him daily. There are no words to convey his strength, compassion and genuine love for his fellow Americans. I thank God for guiding him to lead us at this time. I truly don't know where we'd be if it were anyone else.
