Today President Bush toured the Gulf Coast states of Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana and and did his best to comfort the victims of the most destructive natural disaster in the history of the United States
Hi all. I've been lurking for probably over a year and look forward to the dose as the last thing I do every night. It does my heart good to see the great pics and read your positive posts. I usually get here late after you all have left, but tonight I just had to finally post, whether anyone sees this or not. I watch very little tv news because I can't stomach the Bush bashing either. Thank God we have a strong man like Pres Bush, not a wimpy like me. He has so much compassion for those suffering people, his heart must be breaking by the end of each day. I pray the Lord strengthens him and consoles him, and makes his burdens lighter.
did you see where he cut off Oreily earlier? He is such a tool.
And that is hard to do :)
Welcome Jersey. Good folks here with no Bush bashing.
I watched Shep tonight and I didn't think he was bad mouthing the President. I thought he was bad mouthing the Mayor of NO, After all, the Mayor is responsible for all local emergency planning and coordination. The President cannot address the problems that arise when people gather on a bridge away from the relief centers. The Mayor should be on that bridge with those people until they get taken to where they can be helped. Rudi Gulianni would have handled that situation with a single order
Great news and and good night all see you tomorrow
Glad you decided to post. Welcome to the Dose. You'll be right at home.
I pray over him for wisdom and discernment! Looks like we about have it covered.
Mike
You should post that article as it's own thread - it's STUNNING in its revelations.
My concern is his reporting. Having watched him
over the past few days he doesn't focus as the others
do who have seen a lot also. And a little to much
drama.
If Rudy G was mayor there, probably 90% less problems
and a lot less deaths.
And .. these stinking liberal elites have the gall to call Bush a dunce .. when it's really them that are the dunces ..?? Sheeeesh! President Bush was trying to help her out and keep her from looking totally incompentent - and she still couldn't take his advice.
It will never happen Jonny. They are all blaming the President.
Without dignity, there can never be integrity, and Liberalism will never provide either, cause they are not gifts, they are earned and honored. Something the Libs will never understand because they simply fear a populace that doesn't rely on them
There's a sick, satanic wind blowing in this country and a race and political war are being incited. We must marshall our prayers ever stronger, for I fear the rhetoric and actions are just going to get meaner, more coarse and outrageous .. there's nothing these charlatans and political enemies won't do to try to tear him down.
No matter what he does or will do in this situation, he does it because it's the right and decent thing to do.... and no matter what he does, the chorus of detractors looms larger and louder. But truth will out ... and the truth in this situation is appalling. I pity the poor people of NO, having the great misfortune of this imbecile for mayor.
All America should be grateful that we've been blessed with this honorable and righteous leader ... God knows how much longer it would've been for the first help to get there if W hadn't declared the area a state of emergency a couple of DAYS BEFORE the storm hit, and got the emergency forces moving into the area and preparing.
I hope the monstrous vermin who've been preventing rescues, shooting at the relief choppers, and menacing, murdering and raping those suffering souls are brought to their knees and made to endure same hell they're creating for others.
Thank God for W!
Amen STARWISE.... Amen
Hi Starwise. Have not talked to you in a great while. I don't know how President Bush does it. I have been upset all week watching him bashed by liberals and the liberal media. It has been a depressing week.
Shameful AND digusting....
Re: the busses, I am just catching up on this thread so maybe someone else mentioned this. These busses should not even be there, they should have been used to evacuate people before the hurricane hit.
One young man did get a school buss (if it was from this lot or not I do not know) and evacuated 80 people after the storm and took them to Houston.
I don't think so .. did you read this: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1476205/posts
