If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Sad state of affairs when the race hustlers come out and do their best to divide the country further.

What Jesse Jackson and the CBC did this morning was deplorable. To me, it has the effect of lessening the sympathy I have for the people of NO. I am called a racist and then they want me to open up my home and wallet?
I happened to see many white people pulling people off those roofs. Nagin wouldn't even supply a damn bus before the hurricane to get the NO population out of there.
Let it be known that if contributions are down it is because many are tired of these type of comments.

Jesse's such an ass. He's bitching because there aren't enough blacks in high enough positions of authority in the rescue effort. Bush won't elevate them to positions of responsibility but he's OK with blacks drowning in NO. If Bush were using all blacks and no whites in this effort, Jesse would bitch that the whites, led by Bush, were abandoning the blacks and letting them fend for themselves. Idiot.

CBC = Congressional Black Caucus Thank you for the clarification ... CBC also means Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Unfortunately we have cutesy FReepers who think it's 'way cool' to come up with acronyms or initials that no one else has a clue ... in order to thrust them into the 'way cool inside track' contingent ... otherwise known as WCIT.

At least they wont be able to threaten us with a 'long hot summer' this time. Summer is over this weekend. Perhaps they can threaten us with a long balmy fall.

Jesse made a foolish mistake with that rant.
U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Russell Honore, head of the military task force overseeing operations in the three states, is black. His task force is providing search and rescue, medical help and sending supplies to the three states in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency

Me and others over here have already tired of the crap, particularly after the pounding on the rescuers we were assailed with on every channel and the internet today. I know it ain't right, but our sympathies for LA/NO have really been damaged by all the vitriol being flung around by the officials as well as a lot of the citizenry from there.

All the race-baiting and partisan lies from the left are giving many people a very bad taste in the mouth. I hope all the crap coming from the race hustlers and the MSM backfires big time.

Exactly. NO is basically TU, the entire AOR being SNAFU. WTF? The POTUS has spoken and it's time for the NG to get on the J.O.B. AOK?
To: Republican Red
While the Mayor of New Orleans evacuated himself and crew to Baton Rouge and made no plans for the less fortunate in his city, he now blames everybody but himself for this devastating occurrence!

So of course they will say it's Bush's fault!

History books had better note the partisan response to the emergencies this nation has faced.
If the efforts to investigate the influence of Commuinsts in American government and institutions can forever be slammed as "McCarthyism" (when the KGB files have shown otherwise), then certainly young America can learn the truth about the partisan MSM.
