Your warning is well-taken . . . I have compassion for the Homeless - I helped in supporting our Church's homeless shelter last winter . . . and every single pro we talked to said individual police clearance checks on each person and on-site security were absolutely essential . . . the cops love what we're doing (takes a problem off their hands) and they don't want us hurt and they insist we do the police check before admitting anyone to the shelter . . .
How pray tell, can you do background checks on these people, most of them have no i.d., papers or anything,,,
That's why we've got a big problem on our hands.
They still have fingerprints, and computers can check that in seconds now.
I understand a number of arrests have been made of wanted people who were getting off the buses in TX. :)
