I can understand their predicament and the need to lie about coming from the Superdome. It will be interesting to find out how he came about the initial group. Did he go get the bus on his own and pick up people on the way. Did a group send him off to get the bus?

I believe that his story is that he went and got the bus on his own and picked up survivors on the way out of NO.
