Is anyone watching this guy? He took a schoolbus and started picking people up. He picked up the elderly, people passing out, etc., gave them water, etc. Never drove a bus, just took his chances. The people all donated money and bought gas. He's in Houston and they are all alive. The bus is parked at the Astrodome in Houston.

His quote: "I love them and I am glad they made it."

Wasn't he just the greatest! I love people that think on their feet, take charge and not sit around and say what is the gov't going to do for me. Maybe they should elect him the next Mayor!

He did what he had to do to save people. He'll like it here in Texas, I suspect.

And if LA has a problem with him borrowing a bus to do what their governor and the NO mayor wouldn't do, we'll give them the bus back - but we'll keep him. He's too good to be forced to go back there.

The young man who commandeered the school bus and drove those people to Houston is a hero. He should get a Presidential Medal of Freedom. I wish there were more like him in NO and fewer of the idiots shooting at the rescuers.
