I think our president must have been going nuts at the incompetence of the local "leadership" and is amazing to be so graceful and kind in public. God Bless him!

I thought the guy who was on O'Reilly said they were basically pressing into service TX's long-standing plans for evacuation of Galveston for the next time it was hit.
I can never get those meat thermometers to work right in cooking steaks or burgers. It will not stand up but falls over.
BTW, you moved to La recently? Can I ask what brought you to La?
And with the race baiting going on by the Black Leaders, we REALLY need to be careful. They are inciting and should be arrested and thrown in jail, IMO.
Has it occurred to anyone else that if we have sleeper cells waiting to strike the US, that they would have in the last few days? Im not saying they dont exist, only that this seems to prove their capabilities arent much.
Surely if they could have, they would have before we started turning this corner. Just a thought.
You will always have some so-called looting, but not the level of lawlessness that we saw in NO. In Miami after Andrew there was a National Guardsman that murdered someone while he was deployed. It had nothing to do with the assignment he just randomly murdered someone while away from his Guard duties.
I just stick it in and hold it a few seconds.

Amen. Many ramifications. Most in the country don't see it yet. I think they might when the first real fatality numbers start to come in. As for the rest of the ramifications... they'll become evident over the coming months. We are in for tough times.
I'm just quoting what my friend said.

Ive had to totally shut the TV down, gonna watch a movie this afternoon to get my mind off all of this. Feel bad that I can do that and others are suffering so. Can't just turn something off.
MSNBC and CNN are sickening. JJ all over the news slamming Bush and caustic remarks about race being the reason for this...CNN is just plain ignorant all the way around.
MRE, Water, and HDR supplies are now designed to be rolled off the back of a C17, C130, or large helo and break into small 1 foot long card board boxes.
So (1) do such things naturally disperse as they fall, and (2) is their terminal velocity and construction such as to limit personal injury if they hit?
Mine don't seem to work that fast. But, maybe I'm putting them in too early.
LOL! Then maybe Jamie Lee can help Geraldo find that treasure of Al Capone's. ;)
It's been pretty clear for years there simply aren't the really enormous numbers of sleeper cell terrorists in this country that a lot of people around here like to believe...certainly not thousands, and really almost certainly not hundreds. Certainly we've learned a handful of people can be incredibly dangerous, though.
Ready to be flamed by the Threat Matrixers, of course.
Exactly the point. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
