She snapped back that they were not rescue and recovery, and the Governor forbid them from going in as it was to dangerous.

It seems strange to me that someone from FL would chance a flight out of the path of a Cat 5 hurricane within some 24 hours of landfall. Didn't they learn or hear a thing about Homestead FL and it's experience with Andrew? Wow, this is just incredible. I have family in LA and I have heard for years how corrupt the state government is, and now I guess I can see they are right. The next time I hear some barking moonbat trying to blame President Bush for what's going on down on the gulf coast, I'm going to agree with them, saying, "you know, you're right. The President should have stepped in sooner, federalizing the local police and the national guard, taking them out of the control of the innept and corrupt democratic state and local governments, and actually getting them in there to take care of the people. It's a shame that the dems had to kill all those people, just because they didn't know what to do."
