re :I'm going to stop being mean to just the french and start being surly to all foreigners that I cross paths with in tourist destination Florida.

I feel that way about the Yanks, after I spend a day reading articles such as this on FR.

Full of holes. Complaining about everyone else while looking down on them at the same time.

You must not be a history buff for if you were you'd know that America has bent over backwards for decades helping not only europeans but folks in need the world over.
Now in a desperate time of need I don't see europe stepping up to help. If you don't like these facts thogh crap there tony boy. Moron.

This "article" is being totally torn apart by most here.

WND has become a waste of time. It has been for some time now. I'd strongly recommend ignoring them (or pointing out their errors for all to see).

It is annoying isn't it.

And it is not just complaining about our allies. Some are gripping about some of our corporate donors as well. They should have done more and sooner and so forth.

Some people just like to gripe. They would complain if they were hung with new rope.

Just realize that WND is basically the journalistic equivalent of a conspiracy blog run by a 40 year old man living in his mother's basement. It's a shame anyone takes anything they write seriously.

How did you misss the threads mentioning the foreign countries that were sending prayers and donations? There were a number of them, countries and threads, around here yesterday. And most of us were thankful for the offerings.

As an american myself, I am extremely grateful for the help given my country for this disaster. My family (who are from the west coast, far away from the disaster) was wondering what kind of help we would receive, and all of the countries offering their support (including France) have come through for america.
So if you belong to one of the countries that has offered help- Thank you.
