"Shep Smith is a drama queen. Emphasis on "queen."

So what station are you watching?

You don't have to like the guy. . .but why just 'eat our own' on this.

Now, following a woman, (as per Anderson/CNN) filming as she picks through the remains of her home. . .up close/personal and getting choked up talking about it. . .now that is 'drama' and with some Queen thrown in. . .

Smith saw a dead body and went postal. Guess what? This is the largest disaster in our history and for a so-called reporter to talk about one dead body for 24 hours verges on criminal. If he can't handle it he should not be there. The same goes for Cooper and all of the other blow dried freaks desperately looking for their Dan Rather moment.

I sure don't understand all the Shep Smith bashing I'm seeing on FR. From my observation, and others I've spoken to, I think that Shep truly is horrified by the scenes he is witnessing. After reading all the Shep bashing, I began to really concentrate on his reporting. I see a man who's face and words show the anguish he's going through as a human being watching his fellow Americans suffer. If he's acting, then he deserves an Emmy. I believe he is sincere, and yes, he is a reporter with a job to do, but he is a human being too.

I wonder if people slammed Walter Conkrite for showing despair and even tears when he announced that John F. Kennedy was dead. Yes, they probably did. There will always be callous people, but I hope at a time like this, people could find more important things to do than spend their time nit-picking.

I saw a man and a women holding a US Flag attached to a wood staff look up as a helicopter crew filmed them. They look straight at the helicopter and the women released her hold of the flag and the SOB man, a piece of waste throw the flag on the ground. Walk off and would not look at the helicopter again. How disrespectful. He should have stuck the staff into the ground and have Old Glory waving in the breeze.
Stars an Stripes For Ever!!!!
