The Airport is in Kenner...
This will help people EAST of NO, but I'm not sure it helps NO...
Very good question - will the LA Governor and NOLA mayor be in NOLA when President Bush arrives....
And all you're doing is talking (Tiger) Smack.
I am thinking that the airlines should fill empty seats with evacuees---going to whatever city they have family in.
"Greta said people in Houstom Dome were taking showers in toilets, I don't believe that"
Yeah -- I heard that, too, and been trying to visualize how that would work, assuming the toilet is intact and not "fountaining"...
Guess I'm not that creative.
:~)
That's what Hastert said yesterday and has been creamed by all the local broadcast stations.
(Opinion: It's obvious to all but the most blind that St Bernard and probably the 9th Ward should be turned back to wetlands. Would make the enviro's happy, too.)
LOL!!!!
First, he made an unscheduled stop at a Biloxi shelter.
That's an EXCUSE!!!
I don't see why they have to be mutually exclusive.
THAT'S an awesome idea!!!!!!
"Vitter, speaking to reporters at the emergency response center in Baton Rouge, also said he gave the federal government a grade 'F' for its response to the disaster so far."
Well, here is a Republican that must not want to be re-elected. As an LA Republican I can guarantee he won't get my vote.
What took them so long? Why weren't they there Monday afternoon? It's incompetence, I tell you!
Civil War???
You are WITNESSING What LIB Civil War Would be like....
48 hours after the Water, food, fuel, and electricity get cut off in the Blue Cities, the well-armed 'Hood, starts feeding on the unarmed 'Burbs...
Civil War Ends....
Enemy Defeats Self...
Let Freedom Ring...
Let the try! A whole lot of dem incompetence will come to light in regard to preparedness and planning of the city and state, with the Republican president and his administration having to come in and save the day in the end through a logistics nightmare....Lets not mention the difference in the Republican states compared to Dem states in regards to preparedness and stepping in to help.
Anyone else think of Melanie from Gone With the Wind when watching Laura Bush speaking at the shelter?
Fox News - Laura Bush is at a shelter in Lafayette, LA.
That's really good to hear. Once I heard the President ask, I changed travel plans and fought the urge to top off my tank this morning, but it's such a small thing (and I have a small tank), that I figured only if lots of others were doing the same would it make any difference.
That dogs on the bus pic made my day!!
