This "lady" needs to be sent packing in the next LA Gubernatorial election. This is totally inexcusable. No wonder why people don't trust Dims on security-related issues. Mario Cuomo of NY did the same hand-wringing during the original WTC bombing - BOTTOM LINE - Rats make horrible leaders, they don't know what the hell they're doing because they micromanage every little thing, and when the feces hits the fan they blame the Republicans and squeal like female dogs.
Based on her performance...she really lacks leadership skills to take charge and demand action. You see alot of politicans in this category. Rudy G from NY...was absolute in leadership skills...he delivered. Arnold from Cal...sets the plate and delivers what people need to hear. But this gal...she ought to run some herbal incense store at the mall....I just can't see her giving the state or city a plus on leadership.
This is likely a case where GW may have to bring in some retired Army general and tell him to run martial law for 30 days. Its the only way that the situation will immedately fall into line...and people perform their best...and the robbers face armed Guardsmen.

The woman has a good heart, but she is no Maggie Thatcher. Having said that I ask the Lord to giver her the strength she needs.
But according to Harry Shearer (Dr. Burns from The Simpsons cartoon - and resident Hurricane expert at MSNBC last night) she and the mayor of N.O. are doing all they can to (paraphrasing) "hold back their anger" at the federal government (e.g., Bush). *Barf* ""
Since many of us don't have cable/direct TV, Can you enlighten us as to what "their anger at the Federal government" is all about?
