Feds say accused triple murderer here illegally
Associated Press
PITTSBURGH - A man charged Sunday in a triple homicide in Altoona is a Mexican immigrant here illegally.
Federal immigration authorities say 25 year-old Miguel Padilla (puh-de-ya) could have been deported long ago.
They say Padilla, who lived in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania entered the country illegally when he was about 9 years-old.
Authorities also say immigration agents were investigating Padilla in a criminal case when he was arrested in the triple homicide in Altoona.
Altoona Police say Padilla shot and killed three men early Sunday morning after he was refused entry into a private club.
Padilla is being held without bail in Blair County Jail.
Man charged with killing three at after-hours club (Sun, Aug/28/2005)
ALTOONA, Pa. - A man was charged with shooting and killing the owner, a bouncer and a patron of an after-hours club where he was denied admission early Sunday.
Miguel Padilla was being held without bond in the Blair County Jail after his arraignment on three counts of criminal homicide in the shootings at the United Veterans Association Club, authorities said.
District Attorney David Gorman immediately said he planned to pursue the death penalty in the case, WATM-TV reported Sunday.
Witnesses told police that Padilla had been denied access to the club shortly after 2 a.m. because he was not a member. Police said Padilla then got a gun from his car and shot owner Alfred Mignogna, bouncer Fred Rickabaugh and Steven Heiss, a patron.
All three men were pronounced dead at the scene and Padilla, described by police as an illegal immigrant, was arrested there shortly after the shooting, police said.
Mignogna, a retired math teacher from Altoona High School, owned two bars in the city, which is about 85 miles east of Pittsburgh.
Padilla's attorney, Thomas Dickey, didn't immediately return a message left at his office Sunday. The Associated Press could not immediately locate a home telephone number for Dickey.

Oh, he's just committing the murders that Americans will not commit.
It's a cultural thing, that's how they handle spats in Mexico?
Perhaps I should start a thread every day, "Pray for U.S. Citizens day 1799, etc..." Lord knows the powers that be don't give a fig about us.

These cops were murdered because the perp didn't have enough money to bribe them.
U.S. teen sentenced in Mexico to two years in prison for police officer killings
August 31, 2005
CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico A judge sentenced a U.S. teenager Wednesday to two years in prison for being an accomplice in the June killings of two traffic officers in this border city. Bryan Torres, a 17-year-old boy from El Paso, Texas, was found guilty of stealing some of the officers' belongings and of helping his 19-year-old friend Daygoro Rivera move the bodies.
Rivera confessed to killing the officers because he didn't have money to pay a bribe to the officers so they wouldn't tow his car after a traffic violation. On June 19, Rivera was pulled over for running a stop sign and was followed home by the officers so he could retrieve money for a bribe, according to his confession included in court documents.
Rivera told police that he approached Torres, who was staying at his home, and asked him for money. When neither had enough money to pay the bribe, Rivera took a gun from the house, went outside and shot the officers, according to his statement. Rivera is being held on murder charges.
Charming culture, huh?
No they prefer knives and arson
So the first thing they do is give him a lawyer at taxpayer expense.
Means the taxpayers get to pay for his lawyers and numerous appeals for the next fifteen years. It would be cheaper if the voters would elect him to the Senate and send him to DC where he could work alongside his best friends - the politicians.
Couldn't hoit...
Illegal immigrants have murdered more Americans since 911, than the terrorists did on that date:
"There are over 4,000 murder warrants out, just in the border states, for people who've committed murder and fled to Mexico. "
Above from AZ Representative Russell Pearce in: http://www.phxnews.com/fullstory.php?article=24206
I also found this tid bit just for L.A. in 2004, -- "In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide in the first half of 2004 (which totaled 1,200 to 1,500) targeted illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) were for illegal aliens.. "

Not that two corrupt police officers are any loss. They do more damage to public order than most perps...
