President Bush: "We are dealing with one of the worst national disasters in our nation's history." Push has appropriated vast federal resources to assist with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
78,000 people are currently in shelters. New Orleans evacuation continues. 10,000 additional National Guard troops have been called to service.
Hospitals are running low on supplies, and public health concerns include water borne disease, poor sanitation, food and drinking water contamination and shortages, mosquitoes, carbon monixide poisoning from electricity generators, lack of childcare, and the special needs of the elderly.

The stupidity circle is now complete
That may have been one of them. But the one I had issues with was wearing a red shirt and look whacked out on something dangerous.
It's not a hoax.

if its not a hoak then why is the main url link to a hoax cd site?
No, you're wrong. I'm monitoring WWL and have heard it reported there twice since 1 AM. Reply of presser & interview w/ parish officials.
**HAS FEMA EVER HEARD OF A HELICOPTOR?**
What planet are you on??
There were 70 helicopters operating just in the New Orleans area ALONE today!
Every available copter of any size has been chartered by FEMA for the duration, and is enroute to staging zones!
They had 2 choppers at a time unloading at the dome, and returning with Passengers ALL DAY!
What about air drops from regular airplanes? Wouldn't that work? Like they did in WWII...
Oops.

Multiple locations for this feed, it is either the most elaborate hoax I've ever seen or this is the real channel. Since it has supposedly been verified on the state trooper channel, I think that the thread letting people know about the shooting at the Superdome should be put back up.
Anybody w/ a bit of tech know-how can stream online if they have access to the scanner feed.
From what I can tell, they are peddling a music CD, not a hoax (prank) CD.
According to your sign-up date, you are. If you survive long enough here, and you have a double digit or better IQ, you'll learn that name calling is frowned upon here. I suggest you lurk a little while before saying any more. You're really making an ass of yourself.
Well, I'm hoping the hoaxers aren't in LA or NOLA....
I'm sure someone with more computer savvy than me will find out who "owns" that url.
I have the State Police Net on Shoutcast...
Sounding now as if it's not a hoax.

Is this whatcha need?
Something isn't right about the links. They keep prompting downloads. The last one wanted to take over four hours. That didn't seem to be a "feed" to me, so I stopped.
