THE HURRICANE that struck Louisiana yesterday was nicknamed Katrina by the National Weather Service. Its real name is global warming.
When the year began with a two-foot snowfall in Los Angeles, the cause was global warming.
When 124-mile-an-hour winds shut down nuclear plants in Scandinavia and cut power to hundreds of thousands of people in Ireland and the United Kingdom, the driver was global warming.
When a severe drought in the Midwest dropped water levels in the Missouri River to their lowest on record earlier this summer, the reason was global warming.
In July, when the worst drought on record triggered wildfires in Spain and Portugal and left water levels in France at their lowest in 30 years, the explanation was global warming.
When a lethal heat wave in Arizona kept temperatures above 110 degrees and killed more than 20 people in one week, the culprit was global warming...

Nadda. The Sun is not getting warmer, thats an impossibility, as the Laws of Thermodynamics demonstrate:
Energy Conversion and the Laws of Thermodynamics
The Sun has a finite amount of fuel for its thermodynamic process and thus cannot gain any more energy than it already had at its formation. Albeit its a very long process (some 10 billion years), but the Sun can never regain any of the energy that its already shed off into the Universe.
The Earth has gone through temperature fluctuations for centuries.
Perhaps localized flare ups like sun spots on the Sun's surface could result in torrents of extra radiation (energy) directed towards Earth, or perhaps that the Earth's axis doesn't rotate in a strictly linear plane .. there is a 'wobble' in the Earth's rotation, with a 38,000 year period (the numbers vary somewhat), where North (or South) is pointed more directly towards the sun (polar warming) or a more obtuse angle (ice age) which could easily explain so-called "global warming" or "global cooling" way better than any of the junk science perpertrated by any cheap politician from the left ....
Did the earth wobble more about its axis in the past?
That's because of global warming! Sheesh.
These idiots can't get their facts straight.
It is always pushing 110 in the Arizona in the summer and it's been doing that as long as I've been watching the Weather Channel which is almost 20 years now.
It snowed a foot and more in some areas of deep South Texas, not LA. It doesn't happen here all of the time, but it gets cold enough for it to snow.
These people are fools. I suppose the Hurricane that wiped out Galveston in 1900 was caused by Global Warming. Camile in 1969 was during the period that these envirowackos thought we were headed for another ice age. Which is it? Snow boot or sandels for me?
I remember a band named "Katrina and the Waves". I wonder if they are still around.
The truth, to these people, is whatever bag of lies thay can get you to accept.
The one kernel of truth in the whole rant.
I thought that was caused by overpopulating jelly fish.
I hope that's Reynold's Extra Strength"!
