THE HURRICANE that struck Louisiana yesterday was nicknamed Katrina by the National Weather Service. Its real name is global warming.

When the year began with a two-foot snowfall in Los Angeles, the cause was global warming.

When 124-mile-an-hour winds shut down nuclear plants in Scandinavia and cut power to hundreds of thousands of people in Ireland and the United Kingdom, the driver was global warming.

When a severe drought in the Midwest dropped water levels in the Missouri River to their lowest on record earlier this summer, the reason was global warming.

In July, when the worst drought on record triggered wildfires in Spain and Portugal and left water levels in France at their lowest in 30 years, the explanation was global warming.

When a lethal heat wave in Arizona kept temperatures above 110 degrees and killed more than 20 people in one week, the culprit was global warming...

"When the year began with a two-foot snowfall in Los Angeles, the cause was global warming."

This is satire -- right?

I was here in L.A. and if it had snowed TWO FEET I would have noticed it.

It's like listening to a Scientologist go on and on about body thetans.

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Dang it, if you're going to maintain the seriousness of the new priesthood, the least you can do is get the argot right!

It's Climate Change, now.

Can't miss with that one, LOL!

To all Scientist(or wantabe scientist reporters)_ that Claim this is global warming at work.

Give some concert proof. show me your scientific studies that show this is cause by global warming....

I am a pretty smart guy I think I can figure out all the scientific junk....

If you cannot prove it then you are no better then a propaganda artist that believes that if you repeat someting enough it will become the truth.

When George Bush won in 2000 it was global warming. When he won again in 2004, it was global warming.

When the girl in Arruba dissappeared, the cause: global warming.

Michael Jackson got away with it. Yep, global warming.

You can't find a job? You know it is because of global warming. Your sister knocked up? global warming.

Bombs in London? Global warming.

You feel bad today? Go the sniffles? Global warming.

And who causes global warming?

GEORGE BUSH!!!!!!!!! IT IS AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL HIIIIISSSSSSSSS FAULT!!!!!

Yeah... now that you mention it, I live in Hollywood and that two-foot snowfall somehow missed my area. I didn't see a single snowflake. How odd.

So far, the leftwing nutcases claiming that it was global warming seem to outnumber the rightwing nutcases who say it is the judgment of God.

My question is this: Haven't we had hurricanes before? I seem to recall that we have had them.

I was watching a guy on WWL today talk about what needed to be done to "fix" New Orleans after Katrina. He sounded really knowledgeable right up until the point he blamed the hurricane on global warming. Shortly thereafter, he threw in an aside swipe at President Bush. Between those two comments, he lost all credibility with me.

Haven't the most respected of the global warming scientists contended that global warming would melt the polar ice caps (at least to some degree) COOLING the oceans, resulting in FEWER, LESS SEVERE hurricanes???? I mean, geesh, they can't even get their own "science" straight.

the ignorance of the American public about global warming stands out as an indictment of the US media.

Well, let us carry it to the logical conclusion: whenever one gets dressed down by a boss at work, or has an indigestion, or even a sudden pimple on a buttock - it must be caused by - what else? - global warming. More, whenever a politically correct greenpissing journalist has a particularly intensive fit of idiocy, it must have the same cause.

So quick the Dems' are to attack, all with the same talking point, even before families can bury their dead. Disgusting.

You think this article is bad? Check out this one written by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The headline will make you very angry.
