Except for the whole NFL MVP life thing, Brett Favre and his family have been through just about every bad situation over the last 2 years.

Doesn't this make three seasons in a row that Brett has had to deal with a family crisis?

Kiln is only three to five miles from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The surge in this area was 22-28 feet high. We looked it up on the map this morning and surmised the city was toast.

Holy smokes...Favre has been through the wringer the last two years (and throughout his life - recovering from boozing, Vicodin addiction, etc) with his wife diagnosed with breast cancer, his brother-in-law killed in a crash, and the death of his father.

I pray that Mr. Favre's family is safe and feel badly for them, just as I do for everyone else on the Gulf Coast. But to highlight a celebrity during this mess is very poor taste on the part of the press. He has money to help them.
There are literally hundreds of thousands of people without the resources of Brett Favre who became homeless yesterday.

God be with his family and all the rest of the poor souls in the South battling their way through this.

No wonder the $@& is so tough, he was went through a hurricane before he was born. Actually I was wondering about his family's situation today.
