The Hidden Agenda Behind the "Peace" Rallies.....

As evidenced by the throngs of people attending the recent anti-war rallies in cities across America and around the world, the contemporary "peace" movement is one of the truly significant social phenomena of our time. It has organized a number of massive, synchronized demonstrations -- attended by millions -- in hundreds of cities all over the globe. On 15 February alone, simultaneous protests against US military action in Iraq were held in more than 600 cities.

Though virtually unreported by the mainstream press, the organizers of every major rally to date have deep, longstanding ties to a brand of hardcore Communism that seeks nothing less than the destruction of the United States.

I gotta take exception to that statement. From what I've seen, it's itty bitty demonstrations planted several places and looks to be a smoke and mirror attempt to make the movement APPEAR massive. Six people in front of a supermarket is not, in my opinion, much of a demonstration.....

You are probably right. The reason I linked to this post is to show, just how openly "Communists" are operating in the US....scary!!!

The "anti-war" demonstrators make no sense except from the standpoint of destroy America. Iraq right now is relatively peaceful except for some terrorist attacks on police stations, civilain targets and an occasional US military patrol. There is no all out "war" and it makes no sense to demand a pullout of international forces (which the Iraqis want there) UNLESS you want to see Iraq become a terrorist state.

One reason communists can operate openly is the republicans long ago wimped out in dealing with the far left. There are democrats in Congress who the democrat party should be "forced" to run out of the party. Out and out marxists who take embarrassingly radical positions every day. And the republicans sit there politely ignoring them. The terms "far right" and "extreme right" and "right wing" are used constantly, but leftist, left wing, etc is hardly ever heard. Even though they are all over the place and most Americans do not like leftists. God forbid the GOP should call out Maxine Waters for supporting a cop killing American hiding in Cuba, lest they be called racist.

Even though the Soviet Union is gone, there are still communists about the world and in this country. Communists are part of the human condition and , like the poor "they will always be with us".

Where were the protestors when Clinton went to war in Yugoslovia? IMHO, most of the anti-war protesters are sorry losers who hate Bush so much they want to destroy him. The communists are merely opportunists who glom onto the anti-war bush-haters.

Ahhh...
Brit reported that Sindee had an NPR moment today.

Didn't like the way the interview was going so she cut it short.

Amazing!

"Where were the protestors when Clinton went to war in Yugoslovia?"

The IAC, another WWP offshoot, was a key partner with ANSWER in promoting the protest. It was founded by Ramsey Clark, attorney general for President Lyndon Johnson in the 1960s. For years, Clark has been on a bizarre political odyssey, much of the time in sync with the Workers World Party. As an attorney, he has represented Lyndon LaRouche, the leader of a political cult. He has defended Serbian war criminal Radovan Karadzic and Pastor Elizaphan Ntakirutimana, who was accused of participating in the genocide in Rwanda in 1994. Clark is also a member of the International Committee To Defend Slobodan Milosevic.

They were on the side of Milosevic. They oppose Western Civilization. Stop.

The Communists are running a war of psychological brainwashing and patience. If they can not ruin the US with nucluer power, etc.; they will ruin it the above way.

They are experts at this.

the West Bank and Gaza. The reader of these words is either aware of the indescribable atrocities committed by
Israel, not only to Palestinians, but to Arabs in general and Lebanese in particular"
