Full Disclosure: Somewhere on one of these threads there was a chart of the Army Corps of Engineers Levee System in / near downtown NO.
It shows some of the walls were constructed with sandbags pending improvements and strengthening.
Someone local should have made a stink long ago.
Also, the lack of a coordinated plan at the local / state level for coherent evacuation, crowd control, etc. IF the levees failed.
Also, the inane comments on CNN by various officials about "we can learn to enjoy this" or weak comments about looting...
And now, the cries of "Bush's fault" from lib sources, while Mississippi and Alabama were ALSO devastated, but are not engaging in blame...
Failure to prepare beforehand.
Failure to act decisively during the crisis.
Failure to act like adults after the event.
These people should be pilloried.
Prayers for all, even the officials...
It's always the right time to correct out and out falsehoods.
