It's the Mississippi levy alright -- in Plaqueminnes Parish. That's farther down river from New Orleans. There is no news on WWL about the levys at the river in New Orleans.

Are you absolutely sure it is a Mississippi levee and not the existing breach on the Lake? I was just replying to another freeper who said she heard that. We have have worried about this all day and if the knuckleheads down there were in denial that Titanic was sinking.

It is the Mississippi levee and what started the evacuation of everyone. That is according to an expert that WWL had on a short time ago.
