Last night I heard that three people out of the seven survived.
Grand Isle appeared to be "ok" in terms of NO casualties. I had seen reference earlier in newspaper this morning online. If I find it, I will post it.
Amazing! TY for info.
If this guy had stolen a bigger bucket, he
wouldn't have to carry the beer, because
a sufficiently-large bucket would float.
Where is the f'n military???
It was 5, and they've all been rescued per nola.com

She needs to stay out of the press except for a once a day press conference and actually do some danged WORK.
The heavy airlift needed to do that just arrived this morning. One airport just opened, but the surface vehicles needed to deal with that must just now be rolling off the transport craft.
3 different gas stations on Poplar Avenue in East Memphis - Out of Gas.
4th Shell - $2.76 for mid grade.
Has there been any word on the 7 people that decided to stay on Grand Isle? Have not heard a word about them.
If i recall correctly, three people were rescued there..
If he had stolen a bigger bucket, he could have gotten enough beer for everyone!

The Navy's on the way, the National Guard and Coast Guard been there since the beginning and it sounds like the Air Force/Air National Guard's flying into the one open airport.
I saw that story about those vermin being able to ball up around the queen and survive for 14 days in the water...it was chilling.
Russia has now offered to help as well. Good.
