They'll be in Atlanta on 9-11, we'll have to give them
a reminder of just what this is all about.
Apparently this group didn't learn anything from the 3+ Million deaths when we pulled out of Vietnam.
Do these dolts actually believe that tyrants will not re-enact the 'Killing Fields' as we saw in Cambodia? Are they so stupid, as to believe that some unwashed Musim fundamentalist will not order the wholesale slaughter of anyone 'rumored' to have either spoken in support of Democracy, or actually participated in voting?
Yet another failure of the American Educational system. If the schools fail to teach anything else; they should cover the historical mistakes that have resulted in scores of millions of deaths of innocents.

Some ideas for local events
1) Delegations to Congressional Representatives – with the participants and local representatives Delegation to the District Offices of your congressional representatives to ask them:
* What is the noble cause our loved ones fight and die for?
* What are they doing to end the war?
* How many more lives are they willing to sacrifice?
2) Symbolic Encampments – with tents, signs and food in a public space like your city park, a University Commons or the lawn of a church.
3) Memorial Vigils – we hope to create memorials along the way with photos of the Gold Star familiy members who have died along with photos of those who have died in your community, flowers, candles, boots and crosses.
4) Interfaith Services.
5) Meet and Greet Luncheon or Dinner with Gold Star families, military families and veterans from the Bus tour and your community.
6) Rallies or Educational events at local churches, universities, community centers.
7) Meetings with Editorial Boards.
8) Caravans with the Tour to the next city or beyond. People have asked if they can join the Bus Tour. We have limited space in the main vehicles, but cars, vans, buses that you all organize are welcome to come along! The more self-sufficient you can be the better, if we begin to gather many vehicles the cities ahead will need to prepare for more support including camp ground
She will only be on the bus a couple days. She will then fly into DC for the 24th rally.

I think it deserves larger attention, frankly. For Freep Groups everywhere to host bbq's, sell t-shirts, bottled water, in addition.
You should consider yourself blessed. Those scumbags will, however, be in my back yard on two consecutive days. I am certain Cindy al-Sheehan will not be among the unwashed hordes who will blight my home.
No surprise they are coming to New Haven. They will find plenty of sympathetic ears from peaceniks around here who see America and conservatism as the real enemy.
