Thanks for the well wishes. BTW I have Conan O'Brien playing in the background and he just announced that McLame is his guest. Wonder if he'll bring his cake with him, LOL.

I cannot understand how they cannot like him I can understand that they may not agree with his policies but as a man he comes over as friendly likable person and above all believes in what he is doing.

The media blackout on actually showing President Bush is virtually complete. Even we who follow his activities closely have trouble actually seeing his appearances on TV. People who do not follow politics ONLY hear the slams on him by the "popular" media. These people assume they are hearing truth, so the myth of his incompetence continues.
When Clinton was pres, a clip of him saying something was on TV every evening, and a sound clip of his voice was on the radio news every 30 minutes every day. His photo was in the daily paper. I know because my mother removed it from the paper every day, so she did not have to look at him.
Silly us, we thought that President Bush would be seen and heard in a similar fashion. How wrong we were.

Sorry to get back to you so late but our power went off for a little while last night and I went to bed. The problem I have with pain medication is that it gives me a hangover type headache. Never had one and if these are like the real thing, I do not think I will start drinking any time soon.
We lost a few large limbs off of the trees in the backyard. It is cool here today--71-74 degrees. I had to go get my trusty old housecoat to put on because I am freezing! I have been getting real cold the last few weeks.

I'm late to the party but wanted to say, that's no slouch of a plane that Rumsfeld travels in. It must have a lot of communication and defense equipment on it. I wonder if it has a special designation.
