lengthy story on the turnout. 'They (Sheehan and Sharpton) were unable to drown out anti-Sheehan sentiments'
Oooooo Ya! The Texas sun. Forgot about that part. Must've been hot and dusty. Yeah, he and an aide walked to the motel according to the story. HE probably thinks the cop did it because he was black. I'll BET he does. I think, however, that everyone in Crawford is fed up with Cindy and this was a righteous occasion to bust the driver and leave one of her supporters standing in the dust. It's not like the officer didn't offer to take him. They did. The deputy too. Sharpton, of course (I would have too), said no. Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a hot, dusty walk in the Texas sun! :)
Brit Hume gave you fantastic coverage this evening! And Mr. Hume has billions of fans. Congratulations - you certainly deserve it.
Perhaps Sean has some influence at FNC. HE did a long segment on how the media ignored the families of the fallen who were at the rally SUPPORTING the President and the troops.
Those protestors have violence against people and property as their main goal.
Maybe so Indy, but your daughter is still covering our back and we love her and you for that.
You could contact Bryan Henderson at Protest Warrior. Say hi, commiserate over the Crawford balls up and ask him if they are or know of anyone planning counter protests. That's what he and his buddy and co-founder live for. Read his story of how in high school (not so long ago) he ran into Liberal bias and he and his school chum were so fed up they ended founding Protest Warrior. If anything is planned, they'll know about it. Here's a link to their website:

LOL. I'll see what I can do to recruit a "wedding" sitter and we'll both go. We don't get much excitment in WV either.
It is my understanding that the D.C. Chapter does have something in the works. I'm just trying to think of ways to increase the crowd.
Thanks, it means a lot to her to know you all support them.
I don't know about Sean and Rush. It's like they are afraid to actually do something to support the Right. They are focused on talk only. Maybe they can't because of contracts.
I agree with Nan....your daughter and you are insprirations for all of us that don't have a family member in Iraq right now...(although my nephew will be going soon, I think)..
Therefore, you and she and the rest of your family will be with those that do go, in spirit. And I think the "spirit" of America and of doing the right thing shines through the darkness of their side.
You're a heck of a lot closer though!
Looks like there will be at least one other group out there. We need to co-ordinate.
Right about that activist being behind Cindy. Her name is Lisa Fithian of RANT, United for Peace and Justice, NION, ANSWER and others. She specializes in 'direct action' code for violence though they SAY they are for nonviolence. She and Cindy have been activating since the early 60s when they met. She and Cindy planned this with Veterans for Peace (remember them from the Swift Boat protests?) and a whole crowd of the radical leftist elite. United for Peace and Justice is one of Ramsey Clarke's organizations, dedicated to taking the USA down. Along with Soros and the Tides Foundation (funded by Theresa Heinz-Kerry) they are the power elite on the left and are funding United for Peace, Code Pink, ANSWER and others. There's so many of them all interconnected it's like a snake mating ball but that's who's behind Cindy along with Ben & Jerry's IceCream. There are probably others--the elitist left. I'll get more specifics when I'm not so tired. Been at it all day, in and out several times and in between trying to track the storm too but I can't do anything about the storm where I can get the word out about Cindy. It's the only way I can fight this war is to fight these lying bastards on the left with my keyboard. Physically I'm a bit past my
'sell-by' date and can't go in the military. What the heck is wrong with these people that they hate their own country so much. Where on earth does she think she'd have it better? Or do they just want to have the power of making the decisions. I really ask myself what these people want sometimes. Can they really be that stupid? Someone here has a tag line to the effect, 'Life is hard enough without being stupid.' That is so true!
NRO Online did a piece on her today. Byron York wrote it and exposed Lisa for all to see and wonder about. Here's a link to the piece at NRO Online:

It's a 6-7 hour drive. I'm on the west side of WV.
Didn't Sean Hannity make a bunch of appearances for Republican candidates during the election?
And Jane Fonda will share the spotlight with no one!
I'm just so thankful I can share her with FR. I would be going nuts if I didn't have my FR family to share her with. Especially those who've 'been there done that'. She read all the replies from the threads I posted. She didn't want to reply or start her own thread while on leave. But she did say it was so great to know you all support her, and that I have you all. And that she'll let all her platoon buddies know there are people like you out there and that the old media is history. She just wanted to get away from the war and be a 22 year old young woman for a couple weeks. And believe me, she had a ball being home. You guys are going to make me cry. Thanks again.
