This seems to be the immediate past president's site. I keep thinking.. this title and organization should be protected. Congress should revisit their charter and forbade any organization using the title Gold Star Mother for purposes of fund raising or transacting business across State lines or in association with the families or dependents of the U.S Armed Forces. This is no different than Trademark but the AGSM is not defending itself from this usurpation of their good name and hard work in support of the dead and injured service members that they have cared for over the past 70 years.

This should be prevented (using the Gold Star Mother/Father status for fund-raising). I agree. If you have any idea who to call (make sure they're not left though) and get their ear about stopping that. Do it. Anything we can do legitimately to declaw them and put a cog in their spokes we should be doing.
