The Commission CHOSE what they wanted. If the aids found it in incoming "stuff", they probably notified Gorelick or Ben and they buried it.

Gorelick said MANY TIMES: "We have the documents that we want".

Even my simple mind would have thought to MAKE A FREAKIN 'COPY' or 2 of the dang chart, even if doing breaks the law. . . Individual CYA supercedes the law.

If I may...the Commission wasn't formed then, they convened some time after. And, if you believe Col Shaffer (nd I do), the Commssion staffers came to Bagram specifically looking for persons familiar with pre-911 Al-Quaeda intelligence. That was in late '03. The report came out in the summer of '04. It wasn't until the report came out that the Colonel realizes that his info wasn't included. Not a slam dunk for an explanation but....
