That's not a sat image, that's a radar image. And the radar just north of Ponchatrain is out.
Plus, at this point, the winds are due north over Ponchatrain - which is the greatest chance for the lake levees to be topped. Hopefully they're high enough - but it's gonna be close.

That radar picture does make it look like the worst is past. However it appears to show northerly winds on the lake. Soon to be westerlies, though.
I think NO is going to be really wrecked. But not destroyed I am hopeful.
