Interesting. Something heavy slam the roof on the exterior? Or just wind damage? I guess we'll know in a few weeks but hopefully in the meantime this is as far as it spreads.
Wow. Thanks. I'd thought the entire facility was above sea level. Jeepers. Another reason why it's a last resort, I guess.
Glad to see you are still on the thread! Just rec'd a call from LA Woman3. They made it to TX. Is Ellesu still around?
Harrigan, you twit. You should've gotten back inside when you had the chance.
That is ominous. At least part of the strength of the structure is going to depend on the skin of the structure.
The superdome has plenty of places for the nine thousand inside to stand beside the center of the superdome...
The owners of the super dome said that last year. There was a post showing the article last night. Said past 130 mph there is no guarantees.
In 1900 God knew we wouldnt support Isreal, so he was just warming up. Come on, you gotta brush up on your apocolyptic cryptology. //sarcasm off.
The floor is below the possible flood level.
I'd heard that if the Red Cross couldn't guarantee the structural integrity during a storm, it couldn't be called a shelter. Well, better something than nothing. Beats being in a wooden structure at or below sea level. Sounds as though the NG is doing a great job for these folks, too.
Piedmont section...30 miles north of Charlotte.
Our men & women in uniform are just amazing!
In the superdome???
