"Must have blown by him. It really scared him."

Yeah (sarcasm) Hurricanes have a trendency to turn things into flying daggers. Maybe if the FOOL stays out in the open longer he'll get cut in half. Unbelievable, some people.

The news about the Dome losing power with backup generators not being able to handle a/c is bad. 10,0000 people in there with no a/c will be horrible.

WWL is saying there will be no widespread flooding in NO and folks will be back in the city in a couple days for damage assessment.

I'll say this....... if this turns out to be a story of "not so much damage" to New Orleans, New Orleans citizens will NEVER be convinced to evacuate EVER AGAIN. And I could understand their feelings.

Is it required that reporters get injected with a stupid drug?

Why do they think we want to see them get impaled by flying glass....

..A report from inside would be more than sufficient.

I switched over to NBC for the perky take on the storm but Katie Colonic is off today. I guess her fill in will have to fake concern for others in her place.

I think they said there are upwards of 20,000 inside the Dome.

Not so sure about that, beyond. If I lived there, or anywhere near the hurricane coasts, I would have a lil spot somewhere on high ground, and would be leaving as soon as it vaguely looked like it was coming my way.

I can understand those who have no place to go being reluctant to leave, however.

If that eye is not directly below NO in that picture, then I need my eyes checked.
