Today's Tucson (RED) Star announced that they are dropping the Ann Coulter weekly column from their fishwrap. She has been published since the incident at the UofA where she was acosted by a couple of ruffians armed with pies. The lame brain excuse given was..get this..."That many 'conservatives' have written in complaining about her abrasive style."
We know that what actually happened is 1. This left wing rag does not want any conservative views published and 2. The 'conservative' complaints actually came from serial e-mailers on the left who can't stand her penetrating logic.
How 'bout all the freepers hitting the editor with their demands as 'liberal democrats' that both sides be discussed so that informed decisions can be made. 2 can play!
you know the rules... :D
Got an email addy?
Before anyone gets too upset ... does anyone read this paper?
God knows I love Ann....But I gotta say unless there is a contract, the paper has every right to drop her. No one has a "right" to be published. I believe Ann would tell you that too.
We all know who rules.
The paper published Ann because they thought they could make more money than they pay Ann in fees. They can drop her if they think they make more money this way too.
Soooo.....
Just don't buy the papers. Read your papers online like I do, save a bunch of trees, and put your local rag outta biz.

Trust me - they need her much more than she needs them.
If the newspaer is the Arizona Daily Star of Tucson, try this:

Love the pics....
Good think I am not a puberty stricken young man again, I'd never get anything done.
Great picture of Ann. She's my favorite regardless what the red star thinks. There's more common sense and logic in her little finger than all of liberaldom.
Yeah, I read the same thing in the Red Star this morning and my B.S. meter immediately pegged. When the new ownership took over the Red Star they made a big thing of trying to act like they were changing from a liberal rag that spouted the party line to one that covered all points of the political spectrum. I figured it would be only a matter of time before they reverted to type.
Just one more reason not to renew my subscription.
Yeah, puberty did tend to short a couple of wires occasionally.
Many conservatives complained about her abrasive style? LOL! What a laugh.
More than a few Freepers do actually have the opinion Ann is "too abrasive."
I assume these are the same Freepers who vote for RINOs.
And David wants to know what you think (e-mail at bottom of article).
See 16.
Most conservatives can't get enough of her 'abrasive style'.
