With hearings we will get more info, that will lead to more understanding, which eventually will lead us to the who, what, where, when, why and how.

Man...you have much more respect than I do for our Congressmen and women...the Hearing will be only as good as the members that sit on it...10 to 1 that Weldon will only be a spectator...

I wish someone would answer the question about having the 9/11 commission NOT investigate any further back than 1998...Who and why decided in the ground rules of the commission that they not investigate events before 1998?

Gorelick was placed on the commission precisely to make sure that the door to China corruption was never opened.

You may remember that when Mr. Schippers took the evidence of Chinese corruption to the Senate during the impeachment trial preparations, Trent Lott and others told him not to touch that and just to stick to the sexual stuff. Both parties have suckled at the Chinese teat. Read Who Sold Us Out to China, an old essay of mine that touches on a few of these items.

Linda Chavez' attenmpted debunking of Able Danger in the Washington Times today is intended to protect certain Republicans, who like Clinton, were on the take from the Chinese.

Thanks melt for your take--sounds plausible to me.

varmint--could that be Hugh Hewitt? He continues to put off callers who want to discuss this by saying something like, "The truth will come out if there is some 'there' there."
I'm frustrated. I think there are already many avenues to explore with some substantiating facts to indicate good reason to move forward.

YOU SAID..."Who and why decided in the ground rules of the commission that they not investigate events before 1998"

The breadth and scope of the commissions inquiries, along with the procedure for selection and approval of the members and their staff....remains the object of speculation on this forum.

Who and why...good questions...

I don't think Bush is in on anything like a cover up....he's not that type of person....

I took what Rush said as IF it is found out that someone knew in the FBI or CIA about this, and they were still there, heads would roll. And I also think he meant that it was kind of funny, that night we knew who all 19 highjackers were, and where they went to airline school at and when they came into our Country....now the only ones to know that would be in the clinton administration, and you KNOW he was party harty, and have a good time charley, and didn't have time for such things as protecting you and I...

I really think that is what Rush meant, another person to ask would be gorelick, after all she put the wall up, who asked her to do this, who did she work for? Did she work for Bush and John Ashcroft??? NO! she worked for clinton, clinton and gore...she would be your best bet to find information on, don't you think?

IMHO, there are treasonous and corrupt connections to China, and merely corrupt connections to other countries who have alot of money to spend in DC.

Could be, Mo1. This is such a strange thing with the inclusion of Condi Rice on their list.

#1. I think it's another Rice -- that Susan you pointed out earlier.

#2. It will be fascinating to find out if this is even true at all. I want to hear from Shaffer and Weldon on this before I believe it.

I agree, the Congress critters are almost 100% useless. But the witnesses usually make statements before the questions -- that can prove to be a goldmine of facts. You never know when a Congress critter will ask a question and get a kernel of truth in the answer.

Weldon may not sit on the committee, but the witnesses have no reason to not go to Fox News for a followup session. That is where a lot of the current facts are coming from. The Internet denizens can take it from their.

Why do you think it's not true? Sure it's true. Rice being on the list just has no bearing on anything -- It was tossed in the mix to make you think AD was all bunk. Probably put out by some Democrat staffer.

Ignore it.

That would HH. I've emailed him several times for a clarification but no reply. He usually has good sources and he is very reluctant to talk about it.

I have suggested he get Weldon on also. He needs to start getting a lot more pressure to cover it.
