Police ask help in finding assault suspects
Two veterans of the Iraq war were among those savagely beaten recently in Pioneer Square by a group of men.
Now, Seattle police are looking for the attackers. On Wednesday, they released a videotape of the attack filmed by a witness and still photos captured from the tape.
"We are hoping the public can offer some assistance," police spokesman Sean Whitcomb said.
The assault happened just past 2:30 a.m. on July 31, police reported.
A group of people were in line to enter Larry's Nightclub on First Avenue South when a man groped one of the women in the group.
Her friend, another woman, confronted the man, and he groped her as well.

One of the victims can clearly be seen in the background.
Has anyone else noticed in the video that it looks like there is another guy video-taping the beating, as well? A guy in a jersey with the number "11" on the back is holding something out that looks like either a video camera or may be a cellphone camera.
OMG. This is what they did to our soldiers when they returned from Vietnam. This is making me sick. Literally.

The first man is black, 5-feet-11 inches tall, 185 pounds, wearing a white baseball cap, a white T-shirt blue jeans and white shoes.
The second suspect is black, late teens to early 20s, 5-ffeet-7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He was in a black T-shirt with "Scarface on it," black pants, and has gold teeth and cornrows.
The third suspect is also black, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a red baseball cap and a white T-shirt.

This is just horrible! How come I am just hearing about this? Ooooo the media in this country make me so angry. I'd love to be in Seattle. I'd get a gang of my own (I'm from Texas and my gang consist of some big corn fed boys we call bubba's) and go hunt those thugs down and give them the beating they deserve. Things like this sure cut down on my Christian beliefs on revenge being the Lord's. I am so angry I could just scream right now. No media coverage makes me just as mad as well. Reminds me of the lack of coverage on the Wichita massacres. AAAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHHH. sorry 'bout that.
This sort of thing happens over and over again in Seattle. With apologies to all Seattle FReepers and other conservatives, it is the people of Seattle who are responsible for these continuing outrages because they simply refuse to face up to what they are dealing with. Thugs repeatedly commit brazen acts of thuggery in the heart of Seattle's most populous nightlife district because they know that they will not be held accountable. People get murdered and then the "reverends" come out and blame the police and law-abiding white people for "disrespecting" blacks generally, which apparently causes some blacks to commit these crimes they otherwise would not have. As soon as the "civil rights" pimps point the finger back at whitey, Seattlites slink off to hide in their "shame." Until taxpaying, law-abiding Seattlites unapologetically call a thug a thug and a demogogue a demogogue, and demand accountability from their elected leaders, then they will continue to be treated like jailhouse "bitches" because that is exactly what they are. Grow a spine, people!
