Military families disturbed by a sea of crosses erected by anti-war protesters near President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, have removed crosses bearing the names of their fallen children and transferred them to another site to show support for American troops in Iraq.

I said it before, and I'll say it again:
either meet with them, or drop napalm on them. Either way puts an end to it.
Post #722, to BushIsTheMan:
She was not a Kerry supporter initially. She was very much behind the President.
When she returned from meeting with him, she was very much behind him as was her family. It was only AFTER meeting with the Kerry camp that things started to change.
That's why you see so many letters to the editor in the Vacaville Reporter about her "being used."
They gave her and her daughter, Carly, a lot of attention and paid all their expenses throughout the United States. The other liberal groups jumped in, offering more. Obviously, she needed a lot of attention and set herself apart from all the other military families in town with whom one would only suspect she would identify.
Anyway, this explains why Cindy had not addressed this within her own town or tried to organize here but instead associated with the Berkeley "radicals."
ok replace with a blank cross, sleazy but passable.
It takes real cojones to replace it WITH the name.
Can't the bitch and her crew be sued for doing this?
You are absolutely right. From revisionist history (all the deceased honorable were "gay"; to abortion, to anything they can use as part of the "victimology" ideology").
However, I'd like to make note here, in light of what went on in Vietnam "protest" years?.... This time, it is the anti-war peacepuppies who are for "dead babies" and "murdering babies". The anti-war peacepuppies ARE the pro-abortion people.
I dont hate them, mostly I feel sorry for them for being so ignorant. I do feel complete and total disgust, loathing, anger, rage and hostility.
These people are cowards......
So does this mean from now on, instead of referring to themselves as "pro-choice," they'll now refer to themselves as "pro-abortion?"
That's what I thought when I first saw that, but then I remembered we are talking about the liberals here. They can call us every nasty name in the book and it's okay. It's even justified. I been told this by liberals on another board - because they have been oppressed by the conservatives for so long, they MUST be harsh in order to be heard. Unlike the conservatives, they are polite and peaceful people, but they must resort to being ugly because it's the only language that conservatives understand. They say we cuss and spit at them at every peace rally they have, if they didn't personally see it then a niece of the hairdresser of an aunt of a sister of a friend told them it happened.
They actually believe this! In the 6 years, I've been posting on that board, I've never seen one of the regular conservative posters be disrespectful (there are very few who brave posting there, too). The liberals are rude, patronizing and vicious in almost all their posts. (Except the ones where they are agreeing with each other)
They make me insane. You can't have a discussion with them. If they can't answer your logic, then they tell lies and insult you. FR is my safe harbor. I love this place.
This was a setup from the get go. Hell I wouldn't dought if she hope something would happen to her son, who disagreed with her, so she could use just like she's doing now. Don't get me wrong, I feel for her lose, I lost my Father in Vietnam at the tender age of 5, so I know the feeling. Her son was a True American Patriot, who died for Liberty and Freedom.
As for the crosses it's about time someone sued this woman, I know if she using my sons name without my permission, thier'd be hell to pay.
>I just love how the lame-stream has all these labels for folks who don't want their kin exploited (for political gain) by lefties.<
The Washington Times is part of the liberal media??
It's strange to me , that people who want to have nothing to do with religion, would use a christian symbol as a prop.
"Mothers who found duplicate crosses bearing their sons' names at the anti-war site took the extras home, Mrs. Curtis-Win said."
Mr.Qualls said that he had to go back because they keep putting his son's cross back up. It sounds like the #$*/! have found a new tactic and are putting multiple crosses up now. So, how many parents have respectfully asked for their child's cross to be removed and think it has been removed, but their child's name is still there on another cross? This is disgusting beyond words.
Where do you get that idea?
Seems to me that Casey Sheehan had a better insight into what was going on over there than his mother did. He volunteered, he re-enlisted, and he then he volunteered for the mission during which he was killed. Seems to me he made his feelings pretty clear.
And when you ask a lefty what they would have done to rid the world of a tyrant who has butchered more than 600,000 of his people, they start yelling "Bush lied." Idiots.
I would like to know. DOSEN'T ANYONE WORK ANYMORE, HAVE A HOUSE TO CLEAN, A CHILD TO RAISE, GETTING READY FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR. I can't find time to read the newspaper and these people are hanging out for days and weeks protesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How did they find the better way?
"They wanted me to go to say we support our troops and that America is one. So we're up here trying to do the right thing," said Mrs. Curtis-Win.
During the past three years, she said, about 100,000 troops from Fort Hood have been sent to Iraq or Afghanistan. On Tuesday, some mothers of Fort Hood soldiers killed in Iraq removed their crosses from Camp Casey and transplanted them at Fort Qualls. Mothers who found duplicate crosses bearing their sons' names at the anti-war site took the extras home, Mrs. Curtis-Win said.
Good for them. Good for people standing up to this!
Oh yeah, and damn those losers for re-opening the fresh wounds of the families who have lost loved ones in Iraq. I would spit on them if I could.
