While discussing ILLEGA immigration and replaying a clip of Sean at the border, Sean then asked guest Sen. Hutchison (R-TX), regardless of beefing up border security, if granting in-state tuition for ILLEGAL immigrants wasn't rewarding bad behaviour to people who have broken the law. Does the Senator think it's wrong?
She completely dodged the question by responding "I can understand how difficult it would be to explain this to parents who want their kids to go to school in Texas" and how these children (of ILLEGAL aliens) also want to receive an education, blah, blah, blah
But she said she's planning to introduce legislation to increase border patrol agents and equipment, blah, blah, blah

FReepers, esp. Texas FReepers, tell her what you think:Senator Hutchison's Website with contact info.
* ahem *
I did hear her say that she was FOR FENCES!!! LOL
I have written Senator Hutchison twice about illegal immigration and have yet to receive a reply. She will not take a stand on this issue. She, like so many in Washington don't see a problem.
I saw that D----I was disgusted with her performance...
and to think that I was glad she decided to stay in the Senate instead of running for Governor!
So she is all pat on the back for keeping two Army bases open...but, hey, it is okay for the taxpayers of Texas to foot the bill for illegals to go to college...
When just last week Austin Community College had to find a WAIVER to let a 2 tour Iraq Veteran who has a Texas license, has a Texas home with parents...get in-state tuition, because he wasn't in TExas for the last 12 months to establish Texas residence..
WHY---because he was in Iraq for 12 months...and he wouldn't have gotten that waiver, if it weren't for the alternate media...talk radio and US...WE are the ones that put pressure on the College to find that waiver...and it wasn't even to pay for college expenses---just in-state tuition...
THAT they are giving to criminals!
Oh yeah, she did say she was for fences "in strategic locations."
Oh...I didn't hear that part...
She does advocate fences?
If she does, that is 2 today...because Lindsay Graham advocated fences on Hannity's radio show!!
Now, let's hear them say that on the Senate floor, when their comrades are looking right at them...then I will believe them.
Okay, D, what is a "strategic location"...
My idea of a strategic location is from the ground up about oh, say, 20 feet!
I was noting that she didn't say Americans when she made this statement:
"I can understand how difficult it would be to explain this to parents who want their kids to go to school in Texas"
She's trying to appeal to Americans and Mexicans at the same time, like most of the other slime-ball politicians. For fences/pay tuition.
And 2 thousand miles long.
wtf ping
I send Senator Hutchinson emails whenever I have a compliment or gripe. Her office always responds with the usual form letter. She's going to be in San Antonio soon and I'm sure we will do our best to see which side of the fence she is on.

"I have written Senator Hutchison twice about illegal immigration and have yet to receive a reply."
...and all this time I thought she was only boycotting my mail and emails to her office.
this is f*cking ridiculous
Wow. Has she ever changed! Is that the same person?
Go to the link below for her report card grades and voting records from Americans For Better Immigration's website.

I've contacted her office so many times that I'm probably on a black list by now.
Does anyone else see the lunacy underpinning the debate over in state vs. out of state tuition for illegals??? How about neither? What are they doing in the universities in the first place?
Just another example of how the left has steered the debate away from the real issue: their presence here in the first place.
is this what washington does to ppl?
