I have written Senator Hutchison twice about illegal immigration and have yet to receive a reply. She will not take a stand on this issue. She, like so many in Washington don't see a problem.
I send Senator Hutchinson emails whenever I have a compliment or gripe. Her office always responds with the usual form letter. She's going to be in San Antonio soon and I'm sure we will do our best to see which side of the fence she is on.

They must see there's a problem. A person would have to be blind, deaf, mute, retarded, and in a coma not to.
They undoubtedly have ulterior reasons for not acting. What those reasons are, I don't know. If they're Republican (or RINO, as the case may be) it's not for votes. Something more unsavory.
I really think it is planned and that they know what the eventual plan is to be - open borders from Canada to the tip of S.America, It is the only possible answer. Let's face it, first NAFTA and then CAFTA along with talk about an all 'Americas' economic block 'ala' the European Union. Follow up with the President's chummy relations with Fox and other S. American leaders. It is impossible for me to believe that Bush and other political leaders cannot comprehend the problems, it has to be intentional. If this is true, the US will become another S. American cesspool, nobody, but nobody can possibly fail to imagine the results of unrestricted access.
