He's doing great, sounds very alert and focused.
He's been doing lots of "medic-ing"; lots of heat exhaustion, one case of heat stroke, various & sundry other ailments. He's responsible for 3rd platoon of Charlie Company. OH-best part of all-I now have his address!!!:) :) :)
He says it is very hot & sticky in MS, and it doesn't help that they have to do PT in full BDU's, even if it's at 5:00....it's already hot.
He said they are training the guys hard and it is not easy but he's holding his own and doing just fine.

WooHoo!! Soldier boy has checked in!! Camp Shelby is where Old Sarge trained before going over to the sandbox. He always said it was HOT and muggy!! Soldier boy should be getting a really good dose of the heat issues he will be running into.
And Proud Mom has an address.....does he have requests aleady? LOL!! Size 13 boots?
