"Is it right to call for assassination? No, and I apologize for that statement," he said in a written statement.

He should stick with what he says if he believes it. First it was taken out of context now he apologizes!

Why post this??? Who cares? Why perpetuate the hysteria being created by the left? Pat Robertson made a stupid statement. Big deal.

He's past his prime. And his prime, such as it was, was never ready for prime time.

I defended his right to say it. Hugo Chavez is one dangerous SOB.
Guess Robertson's conscience got the best of him.

Evidently the context is Chavez gave $1 million to Al Queda. Is it still a stupid statement?
Don't know.

"I never said it. People twisted my words. And I apologize for saying it."
What a dope!

It seems like it's been a long time since Pat Robertson was relevant.
For me, the defining moment was around 8 or 10 years ago when his CBN endorsed Benny Hinn.
