I've hear that steel made from meteorites makes excellent knives.

In some ways today's Saudi is like Nero's Rome. We need some Christian martyrs to stir up the world. I'm sure King Abdullah and the Muttawa would be more than eager to help.

Two despicable regimes.

Oh please, say to me
Youll let me be your man
And please, say to me
Youll let me hold your hand.
Now let me hold your hand,
I want to hold your hand.

So what.
It's the indispensable relationship.
We get oil, and our companies get contracts.
Badmouthing Saudis is akin to treason.
I mean, no one cared they were responsible for 3000 deaths in the US.
So, why the fuss.

And people thought I was nuts back in 1990-91 when I suggested that Operation Desert Shield was a farce and that the U.S. was on the wrong side in Gulf War I.

This is why I'd really like us to develop something like a massive algae-based biodiesel program. Let them eat their oil.

There were a few who questioned the validity of going to defend a bunch of rich backward backward Bedouin sheikhs put in power by the British who then carved out the 'country' of Kuwait, a province of historical Iraq, BTW, as part of the Imperial games played out in the aftermath of the Great War.
US GI's screwing gold faucets for the Emir of Kuwait so he could indulge in his monthly virgin deflowering.

Pump 'em dry first. When the oil runs out in the Middle East, they cease to have any political or economic relevance.

You're going to launch nuclear weapons against the 26 million Muslims in Russia?
